There are more than 300 varieties heathers growing in theHeather Centre in an idyllic Scottish setting in the heart of Speyside. The Heather Heritage Visitor Centre is Scotland's only exhibition presenting in a unique way, the historical and modern uses of heather in thatching, weaving of ropes, tattie baskets, doormats, medicinal and culinary applications, wool dyeing, etc. The Clootie Dumpling Restaurant has established a reputation for excellent nutritious food - home-made soup, hot meals and delicious home baking. A wood burning stove adds to the homely atmosphere. In fine weather why not take your coffee outside on the patio? They specialise in serving mouth-watering Clootie Dumpling in 21 different ways.
