I was born in grantown in 1967, and still have family living there. It is so nice to see the lovely things people say on this site about grantown. I want to retire to Grantown, "Finish where i started" It is such a fantastic little place.

Just returned from my first visit to Grantown. Have already booked 2 return visits for 2009. Lovely town, tidy, well kept, lovely people, superbly situated, lots to do. Fell in love with the place. We have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks holiday in Grantown. What a lovely clean town it is, with everything you need in it. The folks are really nice, friendly and very helpful. The woodland and riverside walks are beautiful . We stayed at Ingleneuk, Woodburn Crescent., and couldn't have wished for nicer accomodation. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, even with books and videos if the weather is bad. There is a little stream runs through the front garden and on sunny days there was nothing more pleasant than sitting by it at the picnic table . We found Grantown well situated for touring the Scottish countryside. Thank You for a FABULOUS Holiday!
