I was born in grantown in 1967, and still have family living there. It is so nice to see the lovely things people say on this site about grantown. I want to retire to Grantown, "Finish where i started" It is such a fantastic little place.

Myself and my family visited your lovely town during the weekend of the Braemar Games. Staying there was an absolute joy and myself and my family loved every minute of our time there. We'll definitely be re-visiting the Highlands soon with your town top of the list for places we'll be going back to see. Many thanks for giving us some excellent memories.

A.S, (Sheffield) - September 2008

Just returned from my first visit to Grantown. Have already booked 2 return visits for 2009. Lovely town, tidy, well kept, lovely people, superbly situated, lots to do. Fell in love with the place. Super museum and a great history. Thankyou. All residents should be proud to live in such a clean and pretty town.

J.M, (NORTHANTS) - September 2008

We (2 adults, 2 kids) spent 3 wonderful weeks in Grantown, had a lot of fun and activities. People were very friendly and we enjoyed to listen to Alfie's music. I'll come again - certainly. Marion, Germany - South Bavaria

M.K, (Clanranald, Grantown-on-Spey) - September 2008

We have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks holiday in Grantown. What a lovely clean town it is, with everything you need in it. The folks are really nice, friendly and very helpful. The woodland and riverside walks are beautiful . We stayed at Ingleneuk, Woodburn Crescent., and couldn't have wished for nicer accomodation. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, even with books and videos if the weather is bad. There is a little stream runs through the front garden and on sunny days there was nothing more pleasant than sitting by it at the picnic table . We found Grantown well situated for touring the Scottish countryside. Thank You for a FABULOUS Holiday!

M.J.J, (Nottinghamshire) - June 2008
